UP Police SI Recruitment 2025. Apply Online for 4543 Sub Inspector Posts, Eligibility, Fees & Last Date

Candidates must be aged 21 to 28 years as of July 1, 2025. This means they should be born between July 2, 1997, and July 1, 2004, for roles like Sub Inspector in Civil Police (Male/Female) or Female Sub Inspector (PC) in the Female Battalion, and between July 1, 1997, and July 1, 2004, for roles like Platoon Commander PAC (Male), Sub Inspector Armed Police (Male), or Platoon Commander/Sub Inspector in the Special Security Force (Male). Age relaxations apply: 3 years for General, and 8 years (5+3) for SC/ST/OBC and Uttar Pradesh State Government employees.

The salary is based on the 7th Pay Commission with a pay scale of ₹9,300–₹34,800 (Grade Pay ₹4,200, Pay Level 6). The starting basic pay is ₹35,400 per month, with an in-hand salary of approximately ₹55,000–₹58,000 per month after deductions (PF, NPS, taxes). Gross salary, including allowances like DA (42%), HRA (8–24%), and others (Uniform, Medical, Ration, Risk), ranges from ₹62,000–₹65,000 per month.

Height: Males – 168 cm (160 cm for SC/ST); Females – 152 cm (147 cm for SC/ST).
Chest (Males only): General/OBC – 79 cm unexpanded, 84 cm expanded; SC/ST – 77 cm unexpanded, 82 cm expanded (minimum 5 cm expansion).
Weight (Females only): Minimum 40 kg.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Males – 4.8 km run in 28 minutes; Females – 2.4 km run in 16 minutes.
Eyesight: Minimum distant vision of 6/6 and 6/9 (both eyes, without glasses).

A total of 4,543 Sub Inspector positions are available, covering roles such as Sub Inspector in Civil Police (Male/Female), Female Sub Inspector (PC) in Female Battalion, Platoon Commander PAC (Male), Sub Inspector Armed Police (Male), and Platoon Commander/Sub Inspector in Special Security Force (Male)

Candidates must complete the free OTR on the UPPRPB portal (uppbpb.gov.in or apply.uppbpb.in) by: Entering personal details (name, date of birth, email, mobile).
Verifying email and mobile via OTPs.
Providing identity details (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN, or DigiLocker).
Uploading a photo and signature.
Submitting to receive a unique OTR ID, required for applying to the SI recruitment (application window: August 12 to September 11, 2025).

The selection process includes: Written Examination.
Document Verification.
Physical Standard Test (PST).
Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
Medical Examination.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification as per UPPRPB guidelines.

After completing the OTR, log in to the UPPRPB portal (uppbpb.gov.in or apply.uppbpb.in) with your OTR ID, fill out the SI application form, upload required documents, and submit before September 11, 2025. Ensure all details match your OTR profile.
